The Inconel 600 Round Bar has 72% nickel, 14% chromium, iron, carbon, manganese, sulfur, silicon and copper in the composition. The material has high melting point of 1413 degrees Celsius.

The ASTM B166 UNS N06600 Bar has 310MPa minimum yield strength and 655MPa minimum tensile strength. The material has good oxidation resistance even in elevated temperatures. The corrosion resistance against organic and inorganic acids of the Inconel 600 Rod is very high so it is used in chemical processing industries as well. The material has resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking as well.

Inconel 718 Round Bar is a nickel chromium alloy bar that has up to 55% nickel in the composition. The content includes 17% chromium, 4.9% niobium, 6.6% iron minimum and aluminum, boron, carbon, cobalt, copper, manganese, phosphorus, lead, sulfur and silicon. The Inconel 718 Flat Bar and other types of bars also have tantalum and titanium for stabilization.

The material has 1375MPa ultimate tensile strength and 1100MPa minimum yield strength. There are different types such as the Inconel 718 Hex Bar, square bar, rod, round bar and flat bar. Incoloy is an alloy that belongs to a class of high performing Inconel metals. Since they are high-performance alloys, the properties of an Incoloy 800HT Round Bar will range between good to excellent. Usually, the preference of Incoloy alloys are in those applications which require stable, yet excellent performance in high temperature settings. This being said, the reason behind the alloys good performance in a heated environment is because of the chemical composition of the ASTM B408 UNS No 8811 hex bar.

Its chemistry boosts the creep resistance to a much higher level as compared to Incoloy 800.
