The primary use for the E-lock range of condensate pots is to increase the accuracy of flow measurement in steam pipelines. They provide an interface between the vapour phase and the condensed phase in the impulse lines. The condensate pots are available in a range of materials and have been designed in accordance with ASME VIII Div 1 and produced in an ASME coded workshop. All condensate pots are CE* marked to PED 2014/68/EU for use with Group 2 Gases. Installation can be either vertical or horizontal lines between the primary (Flow Meter) and the secondary (transmitter/ gauge) to act as a barrier to the line fluid permitting direct sensing of the flow conditions. They are located upstream of the instrument and have a bottom drain so that they may be cleaned. For example, in boiler liquid level applications the high pressure (HP)side of a differential pressure transmitter is connected to the vapor space on top of the steam drum. Steam condenses in the chamber orseal pot and fills the impulse line with condensate. The seal pot is located to allow the condensate to drain back to the source thus keepingthe liquid level constant.

Sampling Cylinders permit the extraction of a sample from a remote process location and provide safe containment for storage and to the laboratory for analysis. These cylinders arerated to 3000 psi at room temperature for liquids and gases. Some applications include hydrocarbon sampling in refineries, gas sampling in chromatography and condensate sampling in fossil-fuel and nuclearpower plants. In similar applications, petrochemical facilities and gas processing plants utilize sample cylinders. Pressure surge accumulators or reaction vessels are other common uses for sample cylinders.

Condensate POT / Seal POT is a section of pipe (4inch in diameter) installed horizontally at the orifice flange union to provide a large -area surge surface for movement of the impulse line fluid with instrument element position change. It is used to reduce measurement error for hydrostatic head difference in the impulse lines.

ped-lock Seal pots are used in the flow measurement of high-density and corrosive media to protect differential pressure measuring instruments from these media. The seal pots are filled with an unmixable sealing liquid which, due to the difference in density, forms a sealing layer towards the medium
